So some facts about me since if you spend time here I am sure you will want to know…
1. First a disclaimer - I like nekkid chicks from the raunchiest to the best art ever. You will see it here. Prepare yourself. If you don’t like it consider yourself warned. I will no doubt post something at sometime that will offend each and every one of you. It’s ok, you will survive.
2. I have a full head of hair.
3. I fuck like a rockstar… sadly, it is like Kurt Cobain… like how he would right now… (somewhere out there there is a girl licking her lips after reading that. I would like to meet you.)
4. I have a ridiculous amount of movies on DVD and bluray… I will comment on them from time to time… and do a mini-review every once in a while. Indulge me.
5. I don’t respect or even like punctuation. It doesn’t mean I can’t spell, use proper grammar, or create coherent thoughts so you may feel free comment on that but I can assure you I did it on purpose and you will likely be invited to seek critical success elsewhere.
6. I like pizza, fine wine, 80’s hair bands, fantasy, sci-fi, steak medium-rare, technology, RTS, the smell of a woman’s neck, muscle cars (not tuners) and sleeping in. I make up words… just because I can. When you level up you will be able to also. Don’t hate me because I take language for granted, hate me because I am better looking than you.
7. I don’t like intolerant pricks, women who can’t shut-up, whining, people who think they can drive when they can’t, emo music or death metal, weazels, and broccoli. I respect Vegans in principle because I like animals… but I like to eat them more so please respect my carnivosity.
8. I took the background picture myself of my first love… it is grainy and pixellated on purpose.
9. I like Lord of the Rings hence the Wraith in my title… actually that is a bald-face lie… the Wraith comes from the cult classic (a cult of probably 3 people) “Wraith” where they had Charlie Sheen in a career-defining role of an alien/ghost dude driving a really cool black car killing guys in car street duels… I would give Charlie’s right nut to have that car. That might be a lie too. (not the car part… I would give both Charlie’s nuts for the car.)
10. I think pretty randomly… join me it will be fun.
My favorite PS3 game of the moment is getting some DLC love…

Translational Psychiatry - The neural basis of video gaming
Video game playing is a frequent recreational activity. Previous studies have reported an involvement of dopamine-related ventral striatum. However, structural brain correlates of video game playing have not been investigated. On magnetic resonance imaging scans of 154 14-year-olds, we computed voxel-based morphometry to explore differences between frequent and infrequent video game players. Moreover, we assessed the Monetary Incentive Delay (MID) task during functional magnetic resonance imaging and the Cambridge Gambling Task (CGT). We found higher left striatal grey matter volume when comparing frequent against infrequent video game players that was negatively correlated with deliberation time in CGT. Within the same region, we found an activity difference in MID task: frequent compared with infrequent video game players showed enhanced activity during feedback of loss compared with no loss. This activity was likewise negatively correlated with deliberation time. The association of video game playing with higher left ventral striatum volume could reflect altered reward processing and represent adaptive neural plasticity.
Mass Effect 3 script may be altered following leak
BioWare’s Ray Muzyka has said the script for Mass Effect 3 has been altered and may change further away from the leaked version that slipped out this month.
I have a burning desire to write and bare my tortured soul to the world. Later… after I catch up on 6 episodes of DVRed Dancing with the Stars. That has to be a sign of the Apocalypse.
